Tigh Tuithe self-catering accommodation is situated in one of the most stunning locations in the National Park.
The house is a completely self-contained self-catering unit attached to the main family home. It is built into the hillside and has a turf covered roof, hence the name Tigh Tuithe - meaning 'House with the Grass Roof'.
Surrounded by breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife, the cottage is quietly secluded in tranquil Glen Feshie. Both Aviemore and Kingussie are only 7 miles away in either direction.
The accommodation is comfortable and fully equipped and comprises: one double bedroom, one twin room, open plan kitchen/dining area, shower room with toilet. The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven and microwave. Use of washing machine and tumble dryer in the main house if required. There is parking for two cars. The living room has patio doors leading outside to a beautiful burn, with fields and mountains beyond. It is a real haven of peace and tranquility, a place to relax and admire the wonderful scenery and the wildlife. Roe and red deer are seen frequently, badgers feed at the house every night, and there are even occasional pine martin sightings. The area is a bird watcher's paradise - peregrine falcons, ospreys, buzzards and golden eagles are all found within the locale. The cottage is available to rent all year round and sleeps two to four people. It makes a great base for family holidays, as there are myriad activities including gliding, watersports, horse riding, skiing, mountain biking, walking, golf and fishing.
