The Lecht
The Lecht lies on the A939 between Tomintoul and Strathdon and has something for everyone. At 2090 feet above sea level amid the beauty of the Eastern Cairngorms, this natural playground offers exciting outdoor activities for both winter season and summer season. It is particularly good for families and beginners with excellent nursery slopes and even a magic carpet to help get you started! The Lecht also has a great park for skiers and snowboarders who wish to test their skills on the jumps and rails.
Facilities at the centre include a chairlift rising to 2,500 ft, Skiing, Snowboarding, Tubing, Mountain Bike trails, Skills Park, Deval Karts, Quad Bikes, Fun Karts, Kiddies Karts etc Straddling the A939 on the famous Cockbridge to Tomintoul road, The Lecht is easily reached from Speyside and Aviemore, Donside and Aberdeen and also Royal Deeside and Perth.
