Maps and webcams in the Cairngorms National Park
Have a look and see what it's like right now...!
There are lots of web-cams dotted around the park looking at the weather, the snow, big birds, furry mamals and general views. Here's a small selection of them to give you an idea of what it's like in the Cairngorms National Park right now!
Ptarmigan Top Station cam - remember, this one's situated over 1000m above sea level so the view isn't always guaranteed!!
Day Lodge cam - situated at the back of the Day Lodge, looking up past the Mountain Garden to Coire Cas and the Headwall beyond.
Feeders attract red squirrels, crested tits, siskins and other wild Scottish woodland birds. This webcam is at the RSPB Abernethy Forest National Nature Reserve. In the UK, crested tits are confined to Scotland's Caledonian pine forests and red squirrels are now found only in a few isolated pockets. Siskins are tiny finches, only about the size of a blue tit.
