Grantown-on-Spey is a small town on the edge of the spectacular Cairngorms National Park and a good base for exploring Strathspey. Grantown on Spey has a wide range of bed and breakfast, hotel, guest house camping and caravanning accommodation.

The town is close to the heart of distillery country, eight of which you can visit on the a 70-mile Speyside Whisky Trail, ranging from big business productions like Glenlivet to small, family-run distilleries that run personalised tours and tutored tasting sessions. Just nearby is Balmenach Distillery home to Caorunn Gin. The town has bed and breakfast accommodation available all year round.
