Farmer's Markets in the Cairngorms National Park
The Cairngorms Farmers Market is a made up of a group of quality local food and craft producers from within the Cairngorms National Park and its environs. In addition to the beef and lamb the area is best known for there is also a range of other fresh farm products available including, smoked brown trout, vegetables, home-baking, ice cream, preserves and eggs.
The variety of crafts made locally continues to increase and only quality craftspeople who offer their own unique products are invited a wealth of pottery, candles, soaps, handcrafted cards, home decorations, jewellery, furniture and decorative items made from wood to name but a few.
This mix of quality producers offer you some of the best local food and crafts available in the Cairngorms National Park all at one venue. Ideal for regular shopping or holiday presents.

Within the Cairngorms community the Cairngorms Farmers Market is a vibrant part of the local economy helping small businesses find a market place for their products. Each producer takes their responsibility to the environment and the consumer very seriously every step along the line from field to fork or from studio to your home. They can often be heard discussing methods or techniques of production, optimum cooking times and recipes, animal husbandry and vegetable production, maintaining the beauty of the landscape and a host of other topics. There is no question they won't or can't answer!
The Cairngorms Farmers Market in 2012 will be holding regular markets in Aviemore and Grantown on Spey as well as attending events across the Cairngorms National Park.
