Ardverikie Estate

Ardverikie Estate

Description

Be one of the select few able to conduct their wedding ceremony within the untouched splendor of Ardverikie Castle.
With its fairytale turrets and spectacular views of Loch Laggan, Ardverikie Castle is one of the most magical and romantic venues a couple could wish for. With very limited availability, only a handful of weddings are conducted each year at Ardverikie. The rich carvings of the interior complement the majestic strength of the external architecture to create an event that you and your guests will treasure forever. We work with a variety of external providers and will help you co-ordinate the day down to the smallest detail.

The reception hall, drawing room and library can be booked for up to 2 hours to hold the wedding ceremony, take photographs, and enjoy drinks and canapés for wedding groups for a maximum of 50 people.

The rooms available for hire comprise the impressive reception hall, (lined with beautifully ornate wood panelling; the hall was originally built around a series of six carved panels commissioned for the late Duke of Sussex's dining room in Kensington Palace). The hall opens into the family drawing room and library.

The spacious and airy drawing room, with marble fireplace and stunning views over the garden to Loch Laggan and the library, a more formal room lined with the family's book collection, with an external door opening out to the formal garden and views of the loch beyond. The drawing room and library can be opened up to create one large space or kept separate for a more intimate feeling.
