Cairngorm Brewery produce traditional ales by using well established brewing methods, the finest malted and roast barley, hops and crystal clear mountain water. The brewery is open 6 days a week and our shop has a full range of bottled beers plus party barrels of our permanent and cask ale for sale. Free tours daily Monday-Friday. Booking is essential. Our traditional ales such as Wild Cat,Black Gold and Stag are produced plus we have added new contemporary brews like Trade Winds (our flagship beer), White Lady and Blessed Thistle. We are proud of our small local team at the brewery, who continue to win awards for our ales. We currently hold the title of Beer of the Year with CAMRA Highlands and Western Isles Branch. In March 2009 our traditional Scottish stout Black Gold won SIBA UK Supreme Champion Beer. We have previously won Champion Beer of Scotland in 2004 with Trade Winds and in 2005 with Black Gold. Trade Winds also won Speciality Beer of Britain 2004, 2005 and 2006 and UK Champion Best Bitter in 2008. Our bottles are also Vegetarian Approved and Black Gold is currently Vegetarian Approved Beer of the Year. We have Great Taste Awards for Trade Winds, Wildcat and Black Gold.
