The Glenlivet Distillery Visitor Centre
When staying in the Cairngorms National Park, a visit to The Glenlivet Distillery is a must.
We are open daily for tours, with tours departing every 15-20 minutes from 9.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Saturday and 12.00pm to 4.00pm on Sundays.
Our standard tour is free of charge and includes a guided tour of our new distillery expansion (offically opened by HRH Prince Charles in June 2010), a visit to one of our bonded warehouses and a complimentary dram of The Glenlivet.
Within the Visitor Centre we also have a Gift Shop, selling a wide range of whiskies and gifts, and an exhibtion detailing the history behind The Glenlivet. We also have an excellent Coffee Shop serving light snacks and refreshments, including homemade soup, homebaking, baked potatoes, hot and cold drinks (inclduing a wide variety of Fairtrade juices and coffees) and the world famous The Glenlivet whisky cake, and The Glenlivet whisky ice cream!
Whilst at the distillery, why not follow in the footsteps of some of Glenlivet's most infamous whisky smugglers, by walking one of our Smuggler's Trails. These are 3 waymarked routes that take in some of most beautiful scenery within the National Park. Leaflets and information on these walks are available at the Visitor Centre.
