The brewery is open 6 days a week and from our shop we sell a full range of bottled beers plus party barrels of our permanent and cask ale. Free tours daily Monday-Friday. Booking essential.
Our traditional ales such as Wild Cat, Black Gold and Stag are well established giving a consistently quality product. Along side these we have added new contemporary brews like Trade Winds (our Flagship beer), White Lady and Blessed Thistle. We are proud of our small local team who continue to win awards for our ales. In March 2009 Black Gold won SIBA Supreme Champion Beer of the Year which meant we were 1st against 450 breweries in the Country! We have previously won Champion Beer of Scotland in 2004 with Trade Winds and 2005 with Black Gold. Trade Winds also won Speciality Beer of Britain 2004, 2005 and 2006 and UK Champion Best Bitter in 2008.
