Hostel Accommodation at Slochd, Carrbridge
Has rooms for groups, family en-suite rooms, twin rooms, all of downstairs, toilets showers and bedroom are suitable for wheel chair users. We have a large fully fitted kitchen with spacious dining area, our lounge come lecture room is also large and cosy, there is also a woodburning stove so you can relax after a day out. Great central heating through out and hot showers. Other facilities include drying room, washing machine and drier. Ian has a cycle workshop where he builds bikes and has loads of spares. In winter we have our Cross-country Ski hire and Ski School where we offer hire / instruction, for Alpine, Cross-country and Telemark skiing, Its a great place fun for groups, individuals or family's.

We are 3.5 miles North of Carrbridge, here are easy directions to find us if you are travelling from the South / Look for the Road Sign Inverness 23 Miles / Carry on a further 1.5 miles / Take the first opening on the left marked Slochd / We are quarter of a mile on the right / Drive into the large car park and park in front of Slochd Mhor Lodge.

If you are a club or a business looking for somewhere to take your members customers or workforce or you run an outdoor activity business Slochd Mhor Lodge could be your answer. We are keen to work with more Businesses and organisations who have the requirement for quality inexpensive accommodation. You can make use of our lounge as a meeting or lecture room our large kitchen for a working lunch. At the moment we facilitate BASP first aid courses which run each month. We have climbing and Canoe organisations who come on a fairly regular basis. Also several organisations who use us as a base for there training. We are surrounded by rivers, hills and forests where you can cycle, run, fish, ski and walk so if you would like to discuss some of the options then please give Ian a call.
