Situated at the rear of Craigellachie House, the purpose built Hostel has 3 bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of 12 (5+5+2) There are 3 showers, 3 toilets, a superb drying room, lots of hot water, a fully equipped kitchen, electric central heating, and a lounge/dining area with a wood burning stove. The Hostel is well placed for all outdoor activities. Shops are close by (100 yards) and local hotels serve excellent bar meals. There is off-street parking behind the House. Groups or families can arrange exclusive use of a room or of the whole Hostel: individuals and smaller groups are also welcome.
Newtonmore railway station is half mile away. Coaches stop very close to the Hostel: from Edinburgh /Glasgow (110 miles), Perth (65 miles), Aviemore (14 miles), Inverness (46miles) .
