Hostel Accommodation Corgarff, by Strathdon, Scotland
Situated three-quarters of a mile along a rough track, with nearby scots pine, river and vistas of open hills, the Bothy has an airy and spaceous feel with whitewashed stone walls, carpeted floor and simple furnishings. In the main room a futon, single and two bunk-beds create a cosy sitting area around the wood-burning stove with space for activities on a rainy day, eating area, and pleasantly tiled work surfaces for food preparation. Apart from the shower, water is heated by a large kettle!

An excellent spot for birdwatching and hillwalking, or exploring Upper Donside: castles, galleries. The Lecht Ski Centre is two and a half miles away. The Bothy is close to the eastern walk into Ben Avon and the Cairngorm massif as well as Balmoral and Royal Deeside, Findhorn bay and the coast one and a quarter hours drive away.
