Craignay is set on it's own and is surrounded by Scots Pine and Birch woodland. The back garden enjoys a very sheltered area among the trees where it attracts warm sunshine. Craignay has Total Control off-peak electric room heating. A Scandinavian wood burning Jotul stove adds to the ambience and warmth of the living/dining room. The cottage has been recently modernised, while maintaining the traditional varnished pine panelling and doors. There is ample parking space at the front of the cottage for four cars.
The village of Dulnain Bridge is within easy walking distance (300 metres) from the property.
Dulnain Bridge is 3 miles from Grantown-on-Spey, 7 miles from Carrbridge, 7 miles from Boat of Garten and 12 miles from Aviemore.
Dulnain Bridge has a general store and post office, a garage, an excellent homely restaurant and three high quality hotels. The Speyside Heather Centre also provides snacks/meals and an enjoyable shopping experience.
The Speyside Steam Railway runs from Aviemore to Boat of Garten and to Broomhill Station, only 5 minutes drive from Craignay.
