Countryside Rangers in the Cairngorms National Park
Countryside rangers welcome visitors to the countryside and help people discover and appreciate what’s around them. Feel free to pop into any of the ranger bases. Rangers in the Park run Events throughout the year. There are also many commercial operators that run land rover safaris, wildlife watching days and events.
Ranger Events
Countryside Rangers don't just monitor the weather and the rare species of the Park, they provide lots of activities for you too! Feel free to pop into any of the ranger bases listed - they may not always be manned though!
Rangers in the Park run events throughout the year - see the What's On page. Some events have a charge and some just ask for a donation.
Listed below are the ranger bases which can be found throughout the park.
