Accessible Tourism Business Briefing | Hilton Coylumbridge Hotel | 28th September 2016

Supported by Cairngorms National Park Authority and part of Highland Business Week 2016

Accessible Tourism presents a largely untapped and growing market for Scotland’s tourism industry contributing £1.3 billion to Scotland’s economy in 2015.  The market includes a wide range of visitors, from people with sensory and physical disabilities to families with young children and senior travellers.  Recent analysis of the European accessible market size predicts the value of the market to reach 88.6 billion Euros by 2025, a 65% growth rate.  The aim of the VisitScotland Accessible Tourism Programme is to work in partnership with the tourism industry to make Scotland one of the most accessible tourism destinations in Europe and help tourism businesses to tap into this market.

This session was aimed at giving you the information you need to capitalise on this potential market opportunity.
