The works of one of Scotland’s most famous authors is to be celebrated at Braemar Castle. Robert Louis Stevenson wrote some of the finest works in English Literature including “The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde”, “Kidnapped” and of course “Treasure Island” – half of which he wrote in Braemar while staying there in the summer of 1881.
Now you are invited to a special “Stevenson Supper” on Saturday, September 14. Come dressed as a pirate, a Jacobite, or a monstrous Victorian! Enjoy a sumptuous three-course meal whilst being entertained by music, readings and poetry.
You may even meet Long John Silver and the evil Mr Hyde himself!
