We get a lot of folks interested in what we do, why we do it and how we do it. We’re confident that we are building Lynbreck into a successful rural business based on regenerative agriculture principles that makes us happy and pays the bills.
If you like what we do and want to delve deeper into the nooks and crannies of our business, come and join us for a weekend. We want to give you the kind of practical information and knowledge that we wish we would have had at the start. We don’t claim to be experts but during the weekend, we’ll cover the following through a series of workshops and presentations.
1. Livestock enterprises
a. Introduction to the basics of each – cattle, sheep, hens, pigs and bees
b. Practical considerations and equipment needs
c. Animal health and welfare and grazing planning
2. Trees and woodlands
a. Large scale planting
b. Hedgerow creation
3. Business planning using Holistic Management
b. Marketing and sales
c. Grant applications
a. On site food processing
b. Veg growing
c. Other income generating enterprises
