We run a very popular Youth Club on a Thursday night from 6.30 - 8pm. This is for Primary 6 & 7's and cost £1. We have a mixture of activities on offer, from mixed football, cooking, craft, dancing and themed parties. We have a pool table, a fooze ball and also a docking system for iPods and phones. Young people like to bring their own music along.
Youth Club is a great way of spending time with peers in a relaxed, fun and safe environment. We have three fully trained staff who are part of the PVG system and we also have two volunteers. The doors are locked and secure so the young people are safe and we encourage parents to come into the Youth Club and meet staff and get involved.
We have a tuck shop which consists of fruit and healthy cakes. The young people are encouraged to help at the tuck shop and we will sit down and eat our 'snack' together as a group. The kids have made menus and also run a table service tuck. It has a lovely friendly atmosphere.
We have young people from Grantown, Nethy Bridge and Boat of Garten attending. This is a great opportunity for young people to meet there peers before starting High School.
We have also run trips to Hardmuir Fruit Farm, Nairn Beach, Craggan Outdoors and Roller bowl in Inverness.
£1 per session
